  1. I was scrolling through task manager and found a weird, multi color box, in
processes tab, it was labeled Microsoft Windows based screen, after ending
the task my screen apeared, try it,

  2. I had high hopes but couldn’t get to windows activation technologies.
Without the del command I get “C:windows activation technologies” is not
recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch
    file.

When I add the del prefix it returns “Could Not Find C:Windows activation
    technologies.”
*Edit* I had to go to C:Windows and use del c:windows activation
    technologies with no quotes.
I get the Are you sure? prompt. When I say Y, and the script run but it
says access is denied for every file, even though I ran in admin.

  3. Open task manager. Close “Windows Explorer”. Click file and select “Run
program”. Type “Explorer.exe” and hit enter. Voila.

  4. hey, my asus x551ca windows 8.1 laptop was always working fine until the
    latest windows update came out.
When I downloaded it and restarted my pc, after typing my PW it stays
blackscreen, but I can only CTRL SHIFT ESC to bring up task manager(the
only way)…for some reason explorer.exe refuses to launch/stay open even
    if i keep /run it

Maybe this will be the fix? I hope brotha

  5. I followed the video and it worked. First time a tutorial online worked for
me without any problem :) thank you so much.

  6. I had black screen and thought of maybe if I let my laptop run out of
battery then charge it it’ll work.. well… It did

  7. *guys, I had to deal with the same problem and solved it a bit different!*
The first thing I did was restarting the explorer.exe in the task manager
everytime I got blackscreen after login. (3-5 times)
Then I created a new local User/Account/ profile. After that I disconnected
my microsoft acc = transformed my current acc. also into a local account.
Then I moved all of my files over to my new profile/acc, logged in into
that new acc and transformed it to a Microsoft acc. After deleting the old
one. The was no blackscreen on login anymore! but don’t forget to change
the type to Administrator of your new acc!

    Maybe this could help someone

  8. Guys, do not download themes with Patchers and stuff. It corrupted my
desktop file so I had to restore my computer.

  9. nothing comes up because its stuck on a black screen

  13. I did a lot of things to solve the blank screen with cursor problem, but
nothing fixed it permanently. After a lot of search I finally found a
permanent fix for the problem. (Atleast it is solved for me.)

What you have to do is:

Step 1: After logging when blank screen appears. Press ctrl+alt+del. Close
“windows explorer”. Then click on file and run program, type “explorer”.
Hit enter. Your desktop will appear.

Step 2: Now, Download Intel® Driver Update Utility from here —>
    http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/detect?iid=dc_iduu

Step 3: Download it, install it and run it.

Step 4: Click Auto Detect and Recommend Drivers. Once the indicated option
is selected, the Intel® Driver Update Utility starts to analyze the
    computer.

Step 5: Select the check box of the drivers you want to download, and click
    Download.

Step 6: Some installers require you to reboot your computer.

It seems that when windows get updated, the old intel graphics and updated
windows do not run along. So. you need to update your intel graphics as
    well.
