  9. How can I install Windows 8 if my PC does not have the minimum
    requirements? I have an Eee pc 1000hd with a Intel Celeron M975 (900 Mhz),
    1GB of Ram, I don’t know if is compatible with SSE, PAX and NX

  13. i installed windows 7 and 8 on a 1999 laptop ended up keeping windows 2000
    but windows xp was its original os. It had sound running and could play
    YouTube.It is a sager 8800

  14. After installation you will see a Blue Screen. Why? Becouse you need the
    combination of SSE2+NX+PAE. Normally all the Intel Pentium 4 CPU‘s have the
    SSE2 and PAE functions supported. But all the Intel Pentium 4 CPU’s do not
    support the NX bit function. Of course you can mod your Windows 8/8.1
    system files but you need some skills to do this = so it is possible but
    difficult! :)

  16. @channel48 I have an EXE which does all the hex-editing automatically :) it
    can bypass the check for NX, PAE and SSE2 and i’m soon making a video of
    Win8.1 Update 1 on an old Northwood based Celeron processor (2.4GHz) :)

    something,i didn’t know the name)And as you can see,the taskbar is like XP

  20. My PC is compatible with SSE2, PAE and NX but i can´t activate NX in the
    bios (I don´t see the option) so, it says it isn´t compatible, i´ll try
    this trick next weekend and see what happens.

  21. They say that win9 will be more radical than win8 (somehow I doubt it ???).
    It would be interesting to see how win9 (coming out next year) performs on
    an old system.

  25. I tried to instal win8 on my oldies 650Mhz duron and 1,4ghz athlon 512mb
    ram but it failed miserably. Win8 has some requirements for processor and
    in this case mine are just too old (SSE2, PAE and NX)
